Specificities

Indaero counts with three main branches related to UAVs industry and mission operation:

Manufacturing. Indaero main expertise field is manufacturing technology. Machining, thermoforming, surface treatment and textile transformation are some of the leading manufacturing processes, handling from soft materials (foams, honeycomb) to all kind of metals (aluminum, steel, Inconel).

E‌ngineering. Indaero’s mechanical engineers team counts with knowledge, experience, capacity and means for designing and calculating all kind of parts and systems. In addition, we are positioned as one of the leading consultancy companies when it comes to talk about additive manufacturing and how to apply it to different products in order to get the most from it.

Innovation. Indaero main R+D+i paths related to UAVs are the following:
Advanced manufacturing: Additive manufacturing and precision machining knowledge is continuously evolving, and digital manufacturing helps its machine shop overcome industry challenges. The future of manufacturing is digital and can help solve complex production problems usually related to the manufacturing of UAV components.
Operations research: Indaero is, along with University of Seville, the main promoter of the DESLOGA project (Design and development of advanced logistics systems with drones). This project is mainly focused on generating knowledge about the UAV-truck combined operations applied to logistics systems by the application of operations research processes and generating decision-making tools for operators.
